WWE Talking Smack Recap (6/18): Jinder Mahal on Title Retention, Naomi Names Her New Finisher, Baron Corbin Speaks, Raw Announcer Hosts

Renee Young is joined by Booker T. They are both excited about Baron Corbin winning the briefcase. However, for the women’s ladder match the both feel like James Ellsworth should not have been ringside. They know the other contestants have to feel disappointed.

First Guest: Naomi

Booker T asks the Women’s Champion what she calls her new submission move. She calls it the FTG, Feel the Glow. Naomi says her knee is ok and she is ready to go tomorrow is she had to.

Naomi is not surprised that Ellsworth went up the ladder and got the briefcase for her. She has seen him do stuff for her before. That is why Carmella is with him.

Booker T admits that he has been hard on Naomi in the past. He has said she needs more passion. He tells her that he feels like she is getting everything together and she can come to him for more advice. He also tells the champ to be prepared for Carmella because she will come for the title when it is least expected.

Naomi’s final words to Carmella is that she is ready anytime and she’ll take on Ellsworth too.

Daniel Bryan will be back on Smackdown on Tuesday. They are excited that he will be back because a general manager needs to show his face.

Second Guest: Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal interrupts the hosts and announces himself. They take a look at Randy Orton hitting a RKO on Mahal. Mahal says he was never worried because he is champ for a reason, He adds that Orton made a rookie mistake. He turned his back on his opponent. The champ believes he is the hardest working man in WWE and Orton is past his prime.

Booker T asks Mahal what he thinks of the American people. Mahal does not understand why he is not an inspiration to the American people. He got fired and came back. Within a year of his return he is WWE Champion. He knows the only reason the people do not like him is because the color of his skin.

Baron Corbin interrupts the interview. He slams the briefcase on the table next to Mahal. The champ gets up and has a stare down with Corbin. Corbin tells him he will see him soon and Mahal walks away.

Third Guest: Baron Corbin

Corbin tells the hosts that Mahal had a lot to say about working hard but hard work is for people with no talent. Corbin does not need abs to hurt Mahal.

They watched the video of Corbin attacking Shinsuke Nakamura. Corbin says he feels like Nakamura takes too long to get to the ring. He does not have time for a three minute into. He was ready to fight and everyone can thank him later.

Corbin admits he enjoys other people’s misery. So he might wait a full year to cash in his contract. He likes being a threat. Whoever the champion is needs to keep a watch out for him and never blink.
