As noted, Jeff Jarrett took part in a media conference call today, and WZ’s Nick Hausman was present on the call.

Full audio from the call will be posted shortly, but at one point during the conference, Jarrett did confirm that The Hardy Boyz have yet to acquire the rights to the “Broken” gimmick despite the brothers making several broken references on WWE Raw this week, and Matt Tweeting last week they were “days away” from a win. “No they haven’t”, is how Jarrett answered when asked if The Hardys had obtained the rights to the gimmick.

The Hardys have been involved in a legal battle with Anthem Sports and Entertainment, now known as GFW, over the rights to the “Broken” gimmick, and during a promo segment on WWE Raw this week, which you can watch below, Jeff used his “fade away and classify myself as obsolete” phrase, and Matt noted that after Sunday night’s PPV match the brothers are beaten, bruised and “broken.”
