As we noted last week, Abby Spencer, a 14-year old girl from Henderson, Nevada, is known to many as the 11 year old girl who set up a social media campaign through Facebook called Abby’s Million Dollar Dream in which she attempted to raise $1,000,000 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Light.

Abby toured Southern California while promoting her fund-raiser. She went to Beverly Hills to be recognized by their Mayor and accepted a $1,000 donation. She also made a stop in Pasadena to be recognized by their Mayor as well. It was while in Pasadena, that she teamed up with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley to promote Abby’s Million Dollar Dream while he was in town doing a comedy show.

Getting to know Mick while there and spending time again with him months later in Las Vegas, Abby developed a fondness for him and for wrestling in general. Just before her 14th birthday this past January she expressed her desire to become a professional wrestler just like Mick Foley. As a surprise for her birthday Abby was enrolled in the kids class training with FSW (Future Stars of Wrestling). There, under the coaching of Leon Hater and others she began to work towards her dream.

Abby had her first match at the Future Stars of Wrestling Women’s show this past Saturday, and as seen at the 8:56 mark of the video she give a tribute to Mick Foley with a “bang bang” spot. The match was a draw as the 5:00 minute time limit expired. The match was considered to be the match of the night by these young girls and Abby has already had a couple of requests for wrestling podcast shows.  She also received a congrats message from Mick Foley after her match.
