According to Billi Bhatti of the Dirty Sheets podcast, former WWE World Champion The Great Khali was confirmed as being backstage in Philadelphia for tonight’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
While it has not been confirmed that Khali would appear on camera tonight, it has been speculated that he may been seen on-air or possibly involved in the main event tonight considering the Punjabi Prison match stipulation.
Jinder Mahal will defend his title against Randy Orton in the Punjabi Prison, a match credited as being created by Khali himself.
