Former WWE Superstar John Morrison will be making his debut with Impact Wrestling at the upcoming live event in New York on August 5th. The three-time WWE Intercontinental Champion will be working under his Lucha Underground name Johnny Mundo, joined by fiance Taya Valkyrie and Drago. Tickets are still available for the show.

Morrison started his wrestling career in 2002 as a part of the third season of WWE Tough Enough, and debuted on Monday Night Raw in 2004. He worked as a part of multiple successful tag teams early on, winning championship gold alongside both Joey Mercury and The Miz on five different occasions. He is also a former ECW Champion.

In 2014 Morrison was signed to a deal with Lucha Underground, debuting on the very first episode and has been a key member of the roster ever since. He has won all three of the promotion’s titles, and currently holds the AAA Mega Championship, Latin American Championship and World Cruiserweight Championship.
