Jinder Mahal Clarifies Upcoming UFC Presence

UFC fighter Arjan Bhullar recently announced via social media that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will be accompanying Bhullar to The Octagon for his upcoming fight against Luis Henrique.

In a recent interview with SportsKeeda, Mahal clarified his presence at the event with the following statement:

“Actually it got reported a little bit wrong. Everybody said that I am going to walk Arjan Bhullar to the ring. I’m just going to be in attendance. I will be there in attendance. I will be there cheering him on. So that’s my only involvement. You know, (he is a) good friend of mine. Also first Indian UFC fighter, so I’m very happy for that. I wish nothing but success to him. I will be there only cheering him on.”

Backstage News on the Real Reason Why Enzo Amore Will Be in a Shark Cage at SummerSlam

As we have been reporting in recent weeks, WWE Raw star Enzo Amore has a lot of backstage heat on him in WWE, stemming from numerous issues including an incident on a tour bus, and the way Enzo carries himself backstage in the company.

On Sunday night at WWE SummerSlam, Enzo will be suspended above a shark cage during the Big Show vs Big Cass match. According to Billi Bhatti of The Dirty Sheets Podcast, via Sportskeeda, WWE is choosing to punish Enzo for his backstage heat, rather than fire him, and the shark cage stipulation is how WWE is delivering the punishment.

Enzo is said to be be intensely afraid of heights, and WWE wants to make a clear example out of Enzo, so they are going the shark cage route as opposed to firing him as he is one of the company’s top merchandise movers.
