Dana White Shoots Down ‘Conor McGregor To WWE’ Rumors; Reveals Text Exchange w/ Vince McMahon

Fox 5 NY sat down for an interview yesterday with UFC head honcho Dana White.

During the interview White was asked about the rumor that Conor McGregor would be jumping to WWE to have a match. He responded with the following:

It’s not true. It’s absolutely not true. I literally texted Vince McMahon five minutes ago and he said, “it’s not true.”

At this point the anchor asked to see the text from Vince and Dana happily showed her. In the text Vince allegedly responds with question marks and writes, “news to me.”

Vince also went on to say in the text that, “it could be a good idea someday but not now.”

It’s interesting that this morning there was a report coming out of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Dana and Vince do not have the best relationship. They sure seem cordial enough at the moment based on this clip.
