CM Punk Being Considered For Future Starz Series?

PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE World Champion and current UFC fighter CM Punk auditioned for a role in the pro wrestling-centric drama Heels which was being fast tracked by The Starz Network and ParamountTV.

Punk actually impressed the casting directors so much that he was being considered for one of the lead roles. Unfortunately at this time after several months of cast Heels production has been put on hold by producers. If the project is resurrected Punk could still very well be in the mix.

The drama was slated for an eight episode first season.
