Lio Rush Returning To GCW At ‘Fight Club’ On 10/9

Lio Rush will return to Game Changer Wrestling at the promotion’s Fight Club event on October 9.

The promotion announced the news in a tweet on Sunday, alongside an updated lineup for the show:

  • GCW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Nick Gage
  • Title vs. GCW Career Match for the Internet Championship: Effy (c) vs. Matt Cardona
  • Alex Zayne vs. Ninja Mack
  • Atticus Cogar vs. Jordan Oliver
  • Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner, AJ Gray and Matthew Justice) vs. G-Raver, AKIRA and Alex Colon
  • Mick Foley will present the GCW Championship

Rush, who last appeared in GCW at the Draft Day show in May, recently returned to All Elite Wrestling, and he has also been competing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling under its NJPW STRONG banner.

Updated Lineup For GCW The Aftermath

GCW has also announced an updated card for its “The Aftermath” show, which will conclude the eventful Fight Club weekend stretch, on October 10.

A match between Alex Colon and Jimmy Lloyd is the newest bout on the card.

The announced lineup is as follows:

  • Alex Colon vs. Jimmy Lloyd
  • Minoru Suzuki vs. Joey Janela
  • Mercedes Martinez vs. Allie Katch
  • Tony Deppen vs. Dante Leon
