Jericho to Compete on WWE Raw

Chris JerichoChris Jericho will likely be facing Luke Harper on WWE Raw this Monday night. Y2J was able to defeat Erick Rowan on Friday Night Smackdown, and per the stipulation for the match, Rowan will be banned from ringside at the upcoming SummerSlam PPV during Jericho’s match with Bray Wyatt. WWE.com is teasing that a similar match could take place on Raw tomorrow to make it a fair 1-on-1 contest at the PPV.

Del Rio Replaces Ricardo Backstage

Alberto del Rio took over backstage interview duty this week for the recently released Ricardo Rodriguez, who has been in charge of pre-taped segments that air exclusively on Raw and Smackdown in Mexico. Del Rio stayed in character as a heel, mocking Ricardo for being “fat” and “useless”, and putting himself over as the greatest international Superstar to ever come to WWE. It is unknown whether or not WWE will continue to use the former World Champion in that role going forward.
