Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw Live in Pittsburgh “Seeing is Believing”

I start at the top and the man is Sheamus. Love him or hate him, he is the champion and is a guy that they desperately need to step up. A heel should be hated, but should be entertaining. You can hate a guy so much, but appreciate his character and storyline. You can hate him being champion, but if you are bored with him as champion, there is a problem. Another problem is who he is paired up with.

Roman Reigns is a guy that should already be champion. He has it all, but he is still fighting to gain the respect of the fans. Yes, the crowd was about 65/35 in favor or Reigns. Isn’t that the norm now for polarizing figures? I am okay with that, IF HE IS NOT BORING. Where is the cutting edge storylines? Where is the drive, determination and desire to make the world championship storyline feel SPECIAL? Is it a problem with the talent? Yes. It is a problem with creative? Yes. There is not one solution, but many small solutions. It begins with WWE realizing that maybe they need to listen more to the consumers. Do not give all the power to the fans, but make sure you market talent better and not force feed something down an intelligent fans’ throat.

What’s Old Again is New Again

Maybe “vintage” things are becoming cool again. Whether it is a certain style of clothing or the fact that Vinyl is making a comeback for musicians. As much as I enjoy Tommy Dreamer as a talent, WWE is really pushing Bray and The Wyatt Family down the ladder. From THE UNDERTAKER and KANE…they now face The Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer. It is such a step down for them. So, Wyatt’s beat Dudleyz and Dreamer…. Why does that matter? Again, I enjoy their work, but not in this feud. It makes no sense to me.
