Matt Riddle has gotten off to a hot start in NXT and it’s safe to say that if he spends over a year with the yellow brand, he’s bound to either win the NXT Championship or atleast compete in the Championship picture. Every promotion he’s gone to, he’s been a main eventer. It’s no surprise that any promotion would want to build themselves around a superstar like Riddle.
He has the look, the charisma and in-ring ability to back it up. His short 4-year stint in the independents saw him rise to the top and face the cream of the crop outside WWE. For a year or so after he started picking up steam, fans knew that the only thing that would determine his WWE signing would be agreement between both parties about his marijuana usage.
