The Usos are still the SmackDown Tag Team Champions after a miscue from The Miz led to Jimmy and Jey retaining the titles… and Miz is now without his ‘bestie’ as Shane McMahon turned on him after the match.
The final moments of the match saw The Miz head up top for a frog splash at the insistence of his father, George Mizanin, who was seated at ringside. Miz went for it, but Jimmy got his knees up and rolled up Miz for the win. Miz and Shane embraced after the match, raising each other’s arms before Miz hugged his Dad and raised his arms.
The pair turned to head backstage, but Shane dropped Miz from behind with a forearm shot, then stomped on Miz and mocked George. He grabbed George by the neck and yelled at thim again, then Shane continued the attack, choking Miz out before leaving. Referees and George ended up checking on Miz while Shane left to a chorus of boos.
