A lot has been made over Florida allowing WWE to continue to film as an “essential business.” However, Vince McMahon has a back-up plan if the southern state reverses course and disallows taping.
During today’s Q1 2020 financial call, McMahon said that the company has a contingency plan in place. He says that “a number of [different] states” would love to have WWE filming there.
So, no matter what happens to WWE, expect to see RAW, SmackDown and NXT happen as planned each week. WWE is clearly isn’t backing down despite the coronavirus and will look to keep putting on fresh shows.
