UWN Crowns First-Ever United Wrestling World Champion At UWN Prime Time Live

Chris Dickinson made history at the UWN Prime Time Live Supercard on October 2.

In the main event, Dickinson defeated Mike Bennett to win the finals of the United World Championship Tournament. In doing so, he became the first-ever United Wrestling World Champion.

After the bell, Dickinson cut a promo in which he thanked Bennett, UWN and Dave Marquez.

Both men advanced to the finals late in 2020, and the finals had been set for the November 24 episode of UWN Prime Time Live. But the bout had to be postponed due an injury Dickinson suffered and the COVID-19 pandemic. In the tournament, Dickinson defeated Peter Avalon and Fred Rosser on his run through the bracket. Meanwhile, Bennett emerged victorious in tournament matches against Kevin Martinson and Shawn Daivari.

Dickinson and Bennett currently compete for Ring of Honor, among other promotions.
