Charlotte Flair To Dominik Mysterio: I Have A Real Latino Man At Home That Calls Me Mami

Charlotte Flair referenced Andrade El Idolo on the February 24 episode of WWE SmackDown.

On the February 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, Flair, the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, was set to have a face-to-face confrontation with Rhea Ripley. “The Eradicator” won the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match, and she picked Flair as her WrestleMania opponent.

Flair came to the ring on Friday night and called Ripley out. When the challenger didn’t answer, Flair claimed she was scared. Dominik Mysterio came out and called Flair “Queenie”, but he refused to let her badmouth his “Mami”. Flair fired back after Dominik continued to talk some trash by saying, “I have a real Latino man at home that calls me Mami with a much thicker accent.”

Dominik then vowed that Ripley would beat Flair at WrestleMania and prove that, in doing so, Charlotte’s father, Ric Flair would proven right, as it would reveal that Charlotte “wasn’t good enough.” Flair then stated that Ric could kick Dominik’s butt, but because he wasn’t there, she was ready to do so herself. Before she could, Ripley came to the ring and stared Flair down. “The Queen” raised her title, and Ripley backed down.

Flair’s line about a “real Latino man” was a clear reference to her real-life husband, Andrade, who was released by WWE in 2021. He subsequently signed with All Elite Wrestling and made his debut in June 2021. Charlotte married Andrade in May 2022.
