Britt Baker: I Stand By What I Said About Thunder Rosa, I Have The Same Questions

Britt Baker stands by what she said about Thunder Rosa.

The real-life issues between Rosa and Baker are well-documented, but they have worked together in multiple high-profile matches. Rosa beat Baker in the classic Lights Out Unsanctioned Match on the March 17 episode of AEW Dynamite. Several months, the duo put their differences aside as they feuded over the AEW Women’s World Championship. Rosa beat Baker to win the AEW Women’s World Championship, but she was forced to relinquish the title due to a back injury.

Speaking with John Powell of SLAM! Wrestling, Baker was asked about a scene in the premiere of the show, in which Baker noted that she didn’t’ like the way Rosa continued to make personal appearances after she surrender the title due to an injury When asked whether her opinion of Thunder Rosa has changed, Baker stated that she stood by everything she said because she still has the same questions.

“I stand by everything I said because I still have the same questions…,” Baker said. “You are traveling all over the place for other projects but you’re not coming work where you are the champion? I have that question. I want to know why. I am just asking that question because I’m very passionate and protective of AEW.

“Anyone can call me a bully but I stand by that and that question still hasn’t been answered to this day. People like Adam Cole would have killed to be able to come to work but he cannot travel. It is not like he was going in and doing a signing or convention or a seminar. They’re not coming to work but he wasn’t able to even leave the house.”

Rosa remains sidelined, but she recently started a new role as a Spanish commentator and an on-screen personality. Meanwhile, Baker is involved in a feud with The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm, and Ruby Soho).
