MLW Announces Exclusive Trading Card Partnership With Panini

MLW and Panini America have entered into an exclusive trading card partnership.

Major League Wrestling is entering the world of trading cards through its exclusive partnership with Panini America. The pro wrestling promotion announced a “multi-year” deal with the entertainment collectibles company for trading cards, memorabilia, and collectible stickers.

According to MLW, the partnership kicked off with Panini “commemorating some of the most memorable moments” from the promotion’s Summer of the BEASTS event on Thursday, June 26, by launching products on its Instant Card platform.

“As MLW’s global presence continues to grow, partnering with Panini – the worldwide leader in collectibles – is the perfect next step,” MLW Founder and CEO Court Bauer said. “With the world’s top-ranked fighters throwing down in front of sold-out crowds, MLW is built on iconic moments. Now, thanks to Panini, fans can collect those moments and own a piece of the fight.”

Additional MLW products from Panini will be available later this year at mass retailers including Walmart and Target, in hobby stores nationwide, as well as on Panini’s website, per the announcement.

Major AEW name appears at MLW show

MLW Summer of the BEASTS saw the return of a major fan favorite return to his former home promotion. All Elite Wrestling’s MJF popped up on the scene with a sneak attack on CMLL’s Mistico to escalate their feud.

MJF and Mistico previously squared off on AEW Grand Slam: Mexico at Arena México in Mexico City. The match ended when MJF hit the former Sin Cara with a low blow, causing a disqualification.

MJF will be in action this Wednesday on the 300th episode of AEW Dynamite when he competes in four-way for the number two spot in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In: Texas.

WrestleZone has live coverage of AEW Dynamite every Wednesday.
