BJ Ray recently took a shot at his WWE LFG coach, Bully Ray, claiming he made him relevant and famous.
The WWE LFG reality show season 1 saw a constant tension between the two, with Bully Ray often clashing with his student. Despite their rocky dynamic, Ray chose to mentor BJ Ray and even praised his potential, comparing him to a WWE version of Logan Paul.
Bully Ray believes BJ Ray has a promising future in wrestling. However, BJ Ray, known for his cocky attitude, recently claimed he’s the reason his coach still gets attention. This exchange began when a fan shared a photo with The Dudley Boyz on X, formerly Twitter, stating that Bully Ray refused to pose with a BJ Ray Fan Club shirt during a SummerSlam photo op.
The fan jokingly called Bully Ray the “hater of the year” said they couldn’t wait for The Hardys to retire him for good at TNA Bound for Glory. BJ Ray saw the fan’s post and fired back, saying he’s the reason WWE Hall of Famer is still talked about in the wrestling world.
He compared himself to Conor McGregor, writing, “Lmao only reason Bubba is relevant in the wrestling world right now is because I made him famous. I’m like Conor McGregor… when you get a chance to work with me it really is “break out red panties night” because you are going to be in my spotlight which in return shines on you.”
