New WWE 2K26 content just dropped during the Royal Rumble.
WWE aired a brand-new commercial for its upcoming video game during the Royal Rumble. The trailer played following the shocking conclusion to AJ Styles vs. Gunther at the Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The WWE 2K26 gameplay trailer features World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, Dominik Mysterio, D-Generation X’s Triple H, Razor Ramon, Joe Hendry, Seth Rollins, and more.
The trailer also confirms the addition of the Inferno Match, with Attitude Era Kane and The Undertaker bringing the fight into a ring surrounded by flames. Players will also be able to compete in intergender matches and explore new arenas, as revealed in the footage.
Arguably, the biggest reveal from the WWE 2K26 gameplay trailer is the inclusion of three different versions of CM Punk: ROH-era Punk (early WWE Punk), 2009 Punk, and the current version of The Voice of the Voiceless.
CM Punk is the cover star of WWE 2K26
This comes after Punk was announced as the cover star of WWE 2K26, more than a decade after appearing on the cover of WWE ’13. The cover reveal sparked some hilarious reactions from Punk’s peers, including longtime rival Seth Rollins.
WWE 2K26 King of Kings, Attitude Era, and Monday Night War Editions will be released on Friday, March 6, while the standard edition launches on Friday, March 13. Fans can secure their copies early by pre-ordering now.
