Cody Rhodes Did ‘The Most Partying I’ve Ever Done’ On WWE Flight From Saudi Arabia

Cody Rhodes recalls doing the most partying he’s ever done during a WWE flight from Saudi Arabia. Rhodes hinted that this is one reason he won’t take WWE charters anymore.

Reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was the latest guest on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast. During the conversation, he addressed surpassing his father, Dusty Rhodes’, accomplishments in the company. He noted that, as a fan, he always wanted the King of the Ring crown. Rhodes then recalled the flight back home from Saudi Arabia, after he actually won the tournament at Night of Champions 2025.

Cody Rhodes stated that he did the most partying he’s ever done on a flight during the one back home after Night of Champions 2025. While his memory might be a bit hazy now, he recalled things like Damian Priest walking around in an Aquaman costume, taking photos with people he didn’t know, and arm wrestling Santos Escobar, among other things.

“I’ll tell you something about King of the Ring,” Cody Rhodes began. “That’s one as a fan, I wanted that crown, and I don’t ride on the WWE charters anymore coming back from Saudi. Because after the King of the Ring, was probably the most partying I’ve ever done on a flight. Today, it’s pretty nebulous.

“You see Damian Priest running around in an Aquaman outfit and stuff like that. But I got photos with people I don’t even know. I’m arm wrestling Santos in one photo. My shirt is unbuttoned to like my navel. But all I remembered was that this would have been way cooler had I had the crown, because I emerged from the front of the plane with a crown on. But yeah, I had a good time,” Cody Rhodes said.

Damian Priest told Cody Rhodes why he wears superhero costumes during flights

During his recent appearance on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, Damian Priest explained why he wears superhero costumes during the WWE flights.

“You know the way I am on the planes—especially charters with the boys and the girls. I like to make a, like I said, we’re gonna have a good time. What happens is, after a few libations and some time in the air, I just feel like people need some help. And superheroes are the best at helping.

“So they’ll see me, you’ll see me like this (in normal clothes). And then I’ll walk away, and the next time you see me, I’m in full costume and character. There is no Damian Priest, or Luis, or nothing. I think I brought joy, so yes (if he feels he helped people),” he told Cody Rhodes.
