AEW star Mercedes Moné has a doppelgänger.
Amidst her AEW television absence, Mercedes Moné has returned to the independent wrestling circuit to defend her various championships. On March 17, she then appeared to share a special St. Patrick’s Day photoshoot on X.
After a double-take, fans realized that wasn’t actually Moné, though. It was Kaci Lennox, a former RPW Women’s Champion and 10-year veteran on the indie scene who celebrated the holiday with the “Luck of Lennox.”
For years, Lennox has heard comparisons to “The CEO,” whom many have even called her “twin.” In Lennox’s own eyes, though, the similarities aren’t glaring unless both she and Moné are wearing glasses.
Nevertheless, Lennox is embracing any and all wrestling fans that come to her social media community. “Ya’ll… I still don’t see the similarities that much,” she wrote on X. “But heyyyy! Welcome to my page!”
Lennox Commented On Her “Twin’s” 2024 TBS Title Win
At AEW Double or Nothing 2024, Moné dethroned Willow Nightingale as TBS Champion, setting the stage for a near 600-day reign with the respective title. Afterward, WrestleZone’s Ella Jay caught up with Lennox to gather her reaction to the title win of her “twin.”
“I am excited for Mercedes winning,” Lennox said. “She’s always been somebody who has stood up for the females in the locker room. She stood up for what’s best for the females in the locker room, what’s best for storylines for said females. I’m really excited to see what she does over in AEW. I feel like what she’s done so far without even wrestling has been amazing. So yeah, I’m just excited to see kind of what’s next in that story for her and Willow and what’s next in her story for the rest of the females in AEW.”
Moné’s reign as TBS Champion eventually came an end in December 2025, with Nightingale regaining the title on AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash.
