WWE Star Left Bloodied in Parking Lot Attack on SmackDown

The road to WrestleMania 42 got wild on the March 20, 2026, episode of WWE SmackDown, as Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre took their rivalry to another level with a brutal backstage brawl.

The show started with a recap of last week’s moment where Randy Orton turned on Cody Rhodes. Then, Jelly Roll was shown coming out of his car, and that’s when WWE officials were shown running beside him.

A fight broke out in the parking lot, and it turned out that McIntyre had attacked Fatu.

The Scotsman broke the car windshield and pulled Fatu through and then kept attacking him on the hood, smashing his head. It took several referees and security officials to pull McIntyre away. Fatu was left lying on the ground with a bloodied forehead, bleeding heavily.

Soon after, Drew McIntyre walked to the ring with a mic and started ranting. He said he shouldn’t have to “play nice” and believes he should be in the WrestleMania main event instead of dealing with Fatu.

Then Nick Aldis came out with security and called McIntyre out. He said the former WWE Champion keeps ruining his own chances and warned that his behavior could cost him his career.

McIntyre didn’t back down. He said he even tried to quit, but wasn’t allowed to, and then made things personal by bringing up Aldis’ family. He promised to cause more chaos.

But before anything else could happen, Fatu came back.

Even after the brutal attack, Jacob Fatu rushed into the arena, still bleeding, and attacked McIntyre at ringside. Fatu slammed McIntyre into the barricade, drove him into the steel steps, and threw him over the announce table.

Security tried to stop him, but Fatu kept going. He pushed away the officials and jumped off the barricade and crashed through the announce table with a big splash on McIntyre.

With WrestleMania 42 getting closer, this rivalry has become one of the most intense on SmackDown. And if this was any sign, Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu is set for the grandest stage of them all.
