Thekla makes surprising casino confession on AEW Dynamite
AEW held its special Beach Break edition in Clearwater, Florida. During the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match between Athena, Maya World, and Willow Nightangle. Thekla joined the commentary team while the action continued in the ring.
While talking about casinos, Thekla made an unexpected comment. She said, “The last time I went to a casino I won 10K and ended up with a stripper on my lap. It was great.”
The match ended with Willow Nightingale picking up a huge win. The victory earned her a Women’s World Championship match at Redemption. However, the former TBS Champion barely got time to celebrate the moment.
Thekla suddenly rushed into the ring and attacked Nightingale immediately. Things quickly turned into complete chaos inside the ring. The closing moments saw Mercedes Mone standing tall inside the ring. She posed over AEW Women’s Champion Thekla as the chaos came to an end. The women’s world title scene also heated up ahead of All In at Wembley Stadium.
