AEW Dynamite Results

AEW Dynamite is live from Boston, Massachusetts!

A recap of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break is shown.

Earlier Today…

Will Ospreay is shown training backstage, repeatedly practising his elbow strike as Daniel Garcia fires him up.

Garcia tells Ospreay to get in the cold water, patch up his gear and keep pushing because the work is only just beginning. He reminds Ospreay that they have a stadium to fill and repeatedly encourages him to keep going before praising his effort.

Jon Moxley addresses his group and tells them to stop messing around because it’s game time. He says he doesn’t care what Hall of Fame their opponents belong to, warning them not to let anyone off the hook.

Moxley then turns his attention to Ospreay, telling him that the hard work is already done after winning the (Owen Hart) tournament and strengthening his neck. He says the final steps are the most important because mistakes cost everything. Moxley explains that people often overcomplicate things when they can see the finish line, allowing nerves to take over. He reminds Ospreay that he earned this opportunity and says that when his moment comes, he cannot hesitate. Instead, he has to pull the trigger, no matter who the target is.

The segment ends with Ospreay continuing to drill his elbow strike.

Cage & Cope (c) vs. Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia) – AEW World Tag Team Championship

Cope and Daniel Garcia take the fight to the outside. Back in the ring, Cage attempts to expose the top turnbuckle before charging at Wheeler Yuta with a spear, but Yuta counters with a German suplex.

Cage quickly recovers and tries to climb to the top rope, only for Garcia to cut him off. The Death Riders then swarm Cope, taking turns beating him down while Yuta goes to expose the turnbuckle.

As the referee is distracted, Cage lands a low blow on Garcia. Yuta turns around looking for Garcia but finds him gone. He instead walks right into Cage, who pops him up, allowing Cope to level Yuta with a Spear for the three-count.

Winners and still AEW World Tag Team Champions: Cage & Cope

The Young Bucks are shown in the crowd applauding Cope and Cage following their victory.

Moments later, The Dogs and Claudio Castagnoli storm the ring and attack the AEW World Tag Team Champions. A shillelagh is brought into the mix, but the Bang Bang Gang rushes out to even the odds.

David Finlay gets his hands on the shillelagh, only for Jay White to snatch it away and send his longtime rival retreating. White and Cage then come face-to-face in a tense standoff, but Cope steps between them and plays peacemaker before the segment comes to an end.

Grade: B-

The crowd was absolutely red hot for the AEW World Tag Team Champions throughout the match. The finish was especially memorable, with Cage launching Wheeler Yuta straight into a Spear from Cope for the victory.

The post-match angle, however, raised a few questions. The Young Bucks were shown watching from the crowd and applauding Cope and Cage after the match, yet they made no attempt to help when The Dogs and Claudio Castagnoli launched their attack. Their absence during the beatdown felt a bit odd given that the cameras had just focused on them.

That said, the AEW World Tag Team Championship picture is becoming increasingly crowded. With multiple teams staking their claim, it’ll be interesting to see who emerges as the next challengers for Cope and Cage.

We Hear From Andrade El Idolo

Renee Paquette catches up with Andrade backstage ahead of his match against Jake Doyle. She notes that a win will earn him a shot at Mark Davis’ AEW National Championship.

Andrade says that if he has to fight every member of the Don Callis Family, he will. He adds that if he has to take every championship from the group, he’ll do that as well because his destiny is to become AEW World Champion.

Paquette points out that the Don Callis Family has strength in numbers and asks whether he’s concerned about that. Andrade tells her to stay calm before saying he has everything under control.

He then pulls out a red jewellery box and reveals a diamond ring inside. A shocked Paquette asks if it’s MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring and wants to know where he got it. Andrade replies that he has a good friend. When Paquette asks if that friend is Will Ospreay, Andrade smiles and asks how she knew before thanking her and heading to the ring.
