Although it may appear that CM Punk is in the proverbial "doghouse" since he seems to have been downgraded to the mid-card status given his recent angle with R-Truth, PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE sees it very differently. The company wants to use Punk’s high profile status to help elevate R-Truth and see if he can help bring Truth up to main event status eventually. Then again, WWE made the move to have Punk quickly eliminate Truth at Survivor Series tonight, which doesn’t help support that claim. It will be interesting to see how far this feud will go on Smackdown, but it should be noted that Punk is NOT being punished by working with Truth.
