On the WWE calendar of PPV events for 2009, the originally titled "One Night Stand" PPV, which in the past has featured the entire card competing under NO DQ gimmick matches, has now undergone an official name change. The PPV will now be called "Extreme Rules," which omits the sexual connotation found in the "One Night Stand" title. This is most likely being as the company adapts its product into a TV PG form of entertainment.
