Will Brock Lesnar Be on Monday Night Raw Next Week? Update on Drama w/ Vince McMahon, UFC Appearance & More

wwe rawWhile issues remain unresolved between Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is still being advertised for next week’s Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh, and is expected to be there. Those involved with planning the show are going ahead as if he will be used.

Despite recent drama there are still those backstage who expect Lesnar to sign a new deal with WWE when his contract expires after WrestleMania. Several factors play into that though, including how much UFC is willing to offer the former Heavyweight Champion, and how much WWE is willing to come back with.

In regards to his appearance at last week’s UFC pay-per-view, it was seen as more of a power play and a message to WWE and Vince McMahon. Lesnar obviously wants the company to take his name seriously, and understand how much he’s worth with several other competitors looking to sign him in April.

If the money is right, it does make sense for Brock to stay in pro wrestling, working two or three big matches every year with a dozen or so appearances on Raw. Another factor is if he feels there’s “unfinished business” from his run as an MMA fighter.

Only time will tell what the “Beast Incarnate” has in store for the future, but as of now he is expected to be on Raw next week, as another missed appearance on the road to WrestleMania could ultimately lead to legal troubles, which would ultimately hurt his leverage in negotiating a new deal with anyone.
