Mick Foley confirmed Kevin Owens will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, a rematch from last night’s WWE Roadblock pay-per-view.
Foley announced a special stipulation as well, and Chris Jericho will be locked in a shark cage that will be suspended above the ring to prevent him from interfering. The cage was originally thought to be for a gimmick match on tonight’s show; Foley, Jericho and Owens did end up using the cage in a promo that saw Jericho accidentally locked in it during the show.
