UFC Set To Hold Huge Event The Night Before WrestleMania 34

It turns out that it won’t just be the world of professional wrestling preparing for a big show during WrestleMania week, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship will also be holding a blockbuster event just 24 hours before the showcase of the immortals.

UFC 223 is set to feature two world title fights in the form of Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmagomedov & Rose Namajunas vs Joanna Jedrzejczyk, with several other big names on the verge of being confirmed for the card in Brooklyn. Now while this may not affect Mania too much given that most people watch on the Network as opposed to buying it on pay-per-view, Takeover: New Orleans will be taking place on the same night as the 223 event.

Given how late the UFC cards run there shouldn’t be too much of a problem for WWE, but it’s still interesting to note that one of the biggest cards on the MMA calendar will happen so close to the biggest night in professional wrestling.
