All Elite Wrestling could be one of the best things to happen to the wrestling business in years. This isn’t just any random promotion that’s starting up.  It’s a full-fledged plan, likely years in the making that’s being backed by a multi-billionaire with a lot of media connections. They’re in this for the long haul, and sooner than later, they’re aggressively going to start signing superstars to the promotion.

A few top names have been announced, but it won’t be surprising to see them go after WWE superstars and many other hot free agents. It’s possible that AEW could reach the levels of NJPW and surpass Ring of Honor or even Impact Wrestling. WWE is still far away, but these things take time.

There are a lot of non-WWE superstars waiting for a new platform to showcase their talent, and AEW could be the place for them. Here are 5 non-WWE stars, most of whom are free agents, that could sign with AEW.
