King Of The Iron Ring: Pro Wrestlers & Their Game Of Thrones Counterparts

House Targaryen

Charlotte Flair as Daenerys Targaryen

Charlotte is the entitled Queen of WWE and Dany has had her focus on the Iron Throne since that wild witch sickened her husband and unborn baby. The Queen Of Dragons eyes are always on the prize of title holding and we know Charlotte has that “Natural” knack ingrained in her.

Dustin Rhodes as Ser Jorah Mormont

Jorah is a seasoned vet of the Game of Thrones game and so is the current artist formerly known as Goldust when it comes to professional wrestling. He can be a brain to pick or a soldier in arms dependent on what you need from him and Jorah has been that for Dany in plenty of regards. Plus, that whole “Stone Man” thing has been a new beginning for Jorah and Dustin is all about new beginnings. #KeepSteppin

Ric Flair as The Mad King

Speaking of, Dany and Charlotte both have some pretty wild papas. One liked to light folks on fire while the other lit up bars stylin’ and profilin’. Flair is arguably the King of Kings in the world of wrestling, and he may have gone a bit “mad” trying to keep those alligators down at some points in time, but The Nature Boy persevered, daddy!

Roman Reigns as Khal Drogo

Khal Drogo and Roman Reigns sure look similar, but that isn’t all they have in common. Drogo owned his Dothraki yard with brute strength and whether people like it or not, Roman has done the same for the WWE main event picture. Absence has made the heart grow fonder in both cases as people still reflect fondly on the lasting presence of Drogo and Roman has been a fan fav since his return after persevering through leukemia.

The Young Bucks as Rhaegal & Drogon

Matt & Nick Jackson might not have had a third Young Bucks brother in the mix, but with only two dragon’s left at Dany’s side, Rhaegal and Drogon can blaze a trail for the living all the way down to King’s Landing if it so comes to that. These Buck brothers can and have done the same for independent wrestling.

Dean Malenko as Ser Barristan Selmy

Another recent agent to leave WWE, Dean Malenko is a soldier turned to man of wisdom and advisory. And just like our boy Barry, Dean is one of the best swordsman to ever grace our respected sport of submission and technical wrestling. Just like Selmy, the Iceman will always find his spot.

Ricochet as Grey Worm

Despite the resemblance, Ricochet and Grey Worm both are babyfaces fans want (and have) gotten behind. Amazing badasses at their own craft, the two are capable at doing amazing things and amongst the unsullied, Grey Worm is indeed “The One and Only.”

Ali as Daario Naharis

Although Daario tended to fly under the radar, he proved to be a valuable asset to Dany’s roster of upstart statesmen and soliders. Ali has a super high ceiling if allowed to scale such mountains and he shares the skillset of the suave sellsword.
