EXCLUSIVE: We All Need Someone We Can Bleed On

CORNETTE VS. BISCHOFF

I laugh at Internet feuds. When guys like Jim Cornette and Eric Bischoff square off, at this point it’s like two grade-schoolers whipping each other with strands of limp spaghetti (symbolism intended).

Cornette was one of the greatest managers in wrestling history…a long time ago. But he’s now totally unemployable, and that’s nobody’s fault but his. His current commentaries often contain good points, but he mangles his own credibility by making sure personal invective obscures fact and educated opinion.

Bischoff beat Vince McMahon…a long time ago. But to tweet "this guy doesn’t know anything, and that guy doesn’t know anything"…Eric, if you know so much, use that knowledge to boost TNA. The arrival of you and Mr. Rent-A-Center hasn’t helped TNA in the least little bit. Now you’ve been upstaged by ECW and outflanked politically by friggin’ Tommy Dreamer.

I like Eric, and I owe him a lot. But if he’s going to berate others for lack of wrestling acumen, he needs to do better with TNA. Dave Meltzer would do a much better job running TNA than anyone currently involved.

Cornette and Bischoff, for all intents and purposes, currently reside in the “Where Are They Now?” file. Me, too.
