The Cashbox: 5 Reasons Why Raw Disappointed This Week

Monday night was one I will not forget in a long time.

It started off well as I took my girlfriend to dinner and a movie around 6.  We ate at Red Lobster (it only took me two years to finally take her there) and we saw "Moneyball" with Brad Pitt.  Good movie – not great.  Got home around 9:30 CST, sat back on my new couch with a glass of wine, and I fired up the DVR for Raw.

Pitt's new movie and this week's Raw had a lot in common.  Hype.  Anticipation.  Potential.  Disappointment.  Both fell short of my expectations, but one fell so short, I had to write an entire column about it.

One week removed from a controversial and unorthodox ending to Raw, this week's edition had a ton of momentum and steam heading into it.  It should have been easy for Vince and Creative to pull off at the very least, a "good" show.  They didn't even come close.

In this week's edition of "The Cashbox", I'd like to point out the five main reasons Raw failed so miserably.  If you agree, disagree, or have other reasons to mention, message them to me on Twitter @RealityofChris.
