Off The Air: CM Punk-Approved Star On The Rumble Road

Attention readers: Coming off the heels of a public endorsement by CM Punk (which went viral), countless articles and interviews with media outlets such as Sports Illustrated, ESPN and WrestleZone.com, Gregory Iron, the wrestler with cerebral palsy, has announced he is petitioning WWE for a spot in this year's Royal Rumble (http://youtu.be/q9agBnZ-HtY). You can sign the online petition by CLICKING HERE.

In coordination with his campaign and Off the Air, the "Handicapped Hero" is offering YOU the opportunity to interview him. Starting immediately you can post a comment below in question-form which Gregory Iron will answer in Wednesday's edition of Off the Air. Questions selected for print will be chosen at random based on volume, content and availability.

Greg has acknowledged his need of fan-support in order to help convince the WWE into giving him one of the 30 (or 40) open slots in the 2012 Royal Rumble. A spokesperson for Iron has stated exclusively to Off the Air, "Mr. Iron respects the voice of the fans and understands the power in which the internet wrestling community yields in this business. He is looking forward to hearing from the readers, as he frequents WrestleZone.com daily and invites everyone to join him on this once-in-a-lifetime, never been done before journey."

This fan-based petition truly is a brand new concept and the course of the pro wrestling/sports entertainment industry is set to be altered by Iron and the IWC. Your chance to join the "Handicapped Hero" on his road to revolutionizing the business is right here. Ask questions, provide comments and most importantly make sure to enjoy the ride. Greg has overcome so many obstacles and roadblocks already on his own, now he's hoping for you to accompany him on the road less traveled.

Iron can be seen on the CHIKARA iPPV "High Noon" this Sunday, Nov 13. He also appears on PWO TV Sundays at 10pm on Sports Time Ohio and is wrestling his trainer, Josh Prohibition at AIW's event, Hell On Earth in Cleveland on Nov. 25.
