Survivor Series

One Expected Step Up

Raw may have been lackluster and a bit disappointing in recent weeks, but none of that matters. Tonight's Survivor Series event has something buzzing about it and it feels big.

I understand that The Rock is the one that receives most of the credit for that, but there's even more to it. Maybe not. It could be that my head is light from holding my breath for a John Cena heel turn. Either way, I'm high on life and high on Survivor Series' potential.

Could it end up being a disappointment like so many other things have been recently? Of course. Even more so because we're expecting more. I know I am. WWE can right every wrong decision they've made in recent months in just three hours. Does John Cena have to turn heel for that to happen? Not necessarily, but it needs to be something as significant and meaningful.

The story doesn't end at Survivor Series. We still have four full months to go until WrestleMania 28. Tonight should give us something to hold our attentions for a couple of months until the Royal Rumble rolls around and the road to 'Mania officially begins.

There's more than one option here. I'm not going to say what it should or shouldn't be. Just make me mark out tonight. I'm begging for it. I'm already sitting here on my couch, a few beers in hand, anxiously waiting to be popped…over and over! (Yes, I'm aware how that sounded.)

I know I won't be alone either as hundreds of thousands more will doing the same. Millions more will be tuning in tomorrow night to catch up on Raw. Either way, WWE, you definitely have our attention.

Make it count!
