C.M. Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio

What I Liked:

Once again, both guys give us a solid bout in the ring. I really like how similar and different each guy is at the same time. They both can use great submission holds, but can also get physical and ground his opponent. Del Rio carried a lot of this match offensively, but it was great to see Punk utilize all aspects of his game. The ending was clever, Punk faking a chair shot, and finishing with a turnbuckle exposed from Del Rio. It came full circle quickly. This match did not surpass the great bout at Survivor Series, but it was a good and solid match.

What I Disliked:

There was no solid finish, and I feel it is still open ended. Who does Punk face next? Who does he defend his title again? There are more questions than answers here, and more reasons to wonder why they would book this match on Raw. I am happy to see the ending with Punk standing tall, giving more prestige and more focus on the WWE Championship. There needed to be something to drag us into next week, and nothing really did.

He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
