Madison Rayne asks Sting to be the VP of the Knockouts Division. Sting says no, and books her in a cage match next week against Mickie James. She screams and looks for Gail Kim after the interview.
Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy ends in a No Contest for the World Heavyweight Championship
What I Liked:
I really liked the beginning progression of Hardy attacking early and often. This gave me that vulnerability I was looking for to see in Roode. If he continues to always be cocky and not face adversity, he will become repetitive and boring. Roode looked really aggressive with the punches to Hardy's head, and gave him the upper hand heading into the most important part of the match. I enjoyed the nice spot with the jumping neckbreaker off the top rope. They connected with all of their spots, worked well together, and the finish was well…
What I Disliked:
The finish was an open ended finish. I am not sure if I like this. I get that they do not want a clean victory for either guy, Hardy still on the chase. I just wish there was a pinfall, some sort of way to screw over Hardy again. Ray interfering was okay with me, but the referee knocked out has been done to death. Give the match another referee, keep it going, and potentially have the match end with a cheap roll up. I just thought the match ended was rushed and thrown together. Give me a reason to watch next week with these guys, and I just was lukewarm about it. I felt like they copped out with a No Contest.
