WrestleMania 28

WrestleZone’s Top 10: Worst WWE WrestleMania Events

Number 8: WrestleMania VI

14, yes I said 14, matches filled up this card in Toronto. There lies the problem with the overview of this entire night. Only two matches lasted over 9 minutes, with Hogan and Warrior taking up 22 minutes. Yes, that was a great match, especially in that time. We had Warrior take over many of Hogan’s fans. This was the first time Hogan really was being turned against during his match. You either loved Warrior or loved Hogan. There was no middle ground. Take that away and you get single’s matches like Earthquake/Hercules, Barbarian/Tito Santana, Rick Martel/Koko B. Ware, Boss Man/Akeem, Rude/Snuka. All of these matches got less than 8 minutes, did nothing to make their match special, and really dropped the ball. Was it there fault? No, but overall, this night was a big let down. You cannot get 14 matches in 3 hours. It cannot happen and will  never happen again. You can only have 9 matches tops to really have a chance to succeed and make the night memorable. God, watching this entire event made me want to stab myself in the eyes.I will say Hogan vs. Warrior, as well as DiBiase vs. Jake Roberts were good matches, but the other 12 were not. I wish Savage had more time with Dusty, as well as Mr. Perfect getting more than 7 minutes, but it never happened. This night gets a generous 4 out of 10.
