Goldust Fired

What’s Bothering Me: WWE Draft, TNA Signing Mo, Goldust

I can certainly tell you what’s NOT bothering me – the sand, the sun, the ocean. Lovin’ me some Playa Del Carmen and enjoying my vacation. It was high time for some much-needed R&R and it’s been great so far. When I return to the States, it’s back to work. Don’t forget:  the original “Voice of Wrestling” radio show with me and Nick Paglino returns soon! I’d tell you the date, but I forgot. It’s right before the next three-hour edition of Raw, whenever that is.

And so on and so forth…

From what I’ve heard, Dustin Runnels is a good agent. He was probably an asset to the WWE in that regard. However, those truly are a dime a dozen. There are countless former WWE superstars suitable for those behind-the-scenes positions. They just picked one up in BG “Road Dogg” James. They can find more.

For that reason, I don’t really care that they let go of Runnels.

I do care if they let him go solely due to one spot in a match that reportedly went wrong. Well, I still don’t really care, but it does make you scratch your head and fits the theme of this column.

Maybe it was a final straw situation. Maybe they were waiting for an excuse to let him go long before this.

Either way, there has to be more to the story. And like me, I’m sure you’re DYING to know what it is!
