Over The Limit

Title This: 2012 WWE Over The Limit Reaction

John CenaJohn Laurinaitis def. John Cena

What I Liked:

I am going to be pulling teeth here to find out what I really liked about this match. Hell, I cannot even call it a match because the first ten minutes was John Cena throwing him around and getting the crowd to laugh  once or twice.

What I Disliked:

This was awful in every aspect. No disrespect to Cena because he had to do what he was working with, but this match should have ended a Raw and definitely not a Pay Per View. As soon as Raw ended last week, I said “Big Show will come back and help Laurinaitis to save his career.” It was so simple and so easy to predict that everyone knew it was going to happen. Maybe it would have been a little better if Show came from under the ring much like his WWE debut at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre when he helped Vince attack Austin. Also, Cena and Laurinaitis at the commentators desk killed the crowd. They cannot hear you! Why the hell would you give them a few minutes at the desk. It was not funny and certainly did nothing for me. Big Show is better suited as a heel, but they never do anything with him in that spot. He is always wasted and underutilized as a heel. I feel like he will get a match with Cena at No Way Out and then that is it. I do not see the long term point of having him align with Laurinaitis. WWE always thinks Show is much more than he is, but he is not that main event guy. The crowd did not even boo, as they simply stared and watched. That shows you how few people invest in a guy like Show these days. Awful script writing, awful execution, and a terrible ending to an above average Pay Per View.
