Wrestlezone’s Top 10: No Way Out Matches

Number 6: Elimination Chamber 2008

Las Vegas, Nevada held No Way Out in 2008. The main event was a number one contender match inside Elimination Chamber. Shawn Michaels, Umaga, JBL, Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Jeff Hardy battled for the right to face the WWE Championshipin WrestleMania 24. The best part of this match was the uncertainty surrounding it. Would Shawn Michaels gets back to that big match? Was it Jeff Hardy’s time? This was such an entertaining match, with great progression and fast paced finishers throughout the match. It came down to Triple H and Jeff Hardy, whom eliminated HBK prior to the final two. Finally, Triple H connected with a Pedigree and claimed his seat on his throne as the number one contender. An exciting match with tons of athleticism, great spots, and the ability to keep the fans guessing.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
