Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 9-6

Daniels-James Storm comes out and picks Bully Ray for his opponent at Bound For Glory. That makes Jeff Hardy face off against Joe. They both exchange words and hype up their matches.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian def. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez

What I Liked:

This was a decent match, but I am not sure why Hogan picked Chavo and Hernandez to fight these guys. AJ Styles rallied for a match, but Hogan did not give it to him. Let's talk about the in ring action, which was solid. I felt like Chavo and Daniels worked very well together. Hernandez was used as the muscle of the match, getting the hot tag and beginning to get the momentum in their direction. At the end of the match, Daniels hit him in the back with the championship belt to pick up the victory.

What I Disliked:

Here is my issue with this, and it is simple. Chavo, Daniels, and Kazarian are all very similar in ring competitors. They all have a similar move set, and rely on a few splash moves after slowing down the pace. You need teams to be different, and I did not feel a rush for any of this match. I mentally checked out about half way through the match. You knew Daniels and Kazarian would win, so there was not a vast interest in the outcome. I did like when Hogan came out to announce Styles and Angle to face the champs, but Chavo and Hernandez just got screwed over. Shouldn't Hogan focus more on the screwjob that just took place?

Austin Aries comes out and tortures Mike from Aces and Eights to tell him who attacked Aries. He finally starts to tell, but the leader of the group comes out. He ends up hitting his own partner in crime before getting into the ring and fighting Aries. Aries and the leader go back and forth, until Impact ends. Why isn't there more focus on his match? He is the champion, the face of the company, but his match isn't really talked much about. I really do not understand this at all.
