Title This: 2/13 Impact Wrestling Reaction “Bully Ray At His Best”

The Main Event

impact wrestling reactionMr. Anderson defeated Bully Ray in a Casket Match in the main event of the night. Both men started off fast and aggressive. Whether it was Anderson choking Bully Ray with his jersey, Bully Ray throwing Anderson into the steps or multiple chair shots, both men gave so much emotion and intensity from the very beginning. As the casket came into play, Anderson kicked it open (as he was in it) and smacked right into Bully Ray's head. Anderson follows up with low blow, only to get hit with a chair and powerbomed from a table. Ray screams about Anderson's family and tries to set him up for a Piledriver. Anderson reverses it and hits a Mic Check for the win.

Bully Ray At His Best

There are very few guys who know how to completely change their characters for the better during the end of their career. Bully Ray made this feud, made this feel personal and real. Anderson, obviously, helped it get to that top level. I really enjoyed this program because it was interesting and not like everything else we see for 5 hours a week on other wrestling shows. (WWE) The boundaries were pushed and the personal touch was actually JUST RIGHT. Ray knows what to say and how to say it. He articulates his words, speaks slowly, and really enforces that he is a true heel. He does not want to be cheered and that may be the best part about him. I may have scripted the match a little differently, but this worked to conclude a feud.

Quick Hits

-Abyss needs to keep the mask on and go from there. Nobody cares about a Joseph Park Character. Abyss is more interesting and unique. Park is bland and boring.

– Dixie's Team vs. MVP's team for "full control" seems rushed. He has only been there a few weeks. This is the problem with TNA cutting so many PPV's.

-Willow is Jeff Hardy. How does this help him returning? The name Hardy is more money and more recognizable than ANY other gimmick they could try and come up with.
