WrestleZone’s Pay-Per View Predictions: WWE Elimination Chamber

The New Age Outlaws vs. The Uso’s for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Killam on what should happen: WWE has done a great job of building up the Usos over the last few months. They are next in line for a tag title run; one a long time in the making. Elimination Chamber isn’t time for that transition yet. The Outlaws need some heat. I’m sick of his psuedo-heel stuff, where bad guys do nothing wrong, align themselves with other lukewarm personalities, and nobody really gets over. Enough of the pre-match chanting rituals – it’s not doing anybody any favors. The Outaws need to retain at the Elimination Chamber, screw their way into the finish, and build some heat over the next month. Host a tag team battle royale or elimination match in the WrestleMania Kickoff show, and give the Usos the titles in April where it means more.

Killam on what will happen: I’m actually scared they’ll give the Usos the big win here. Sounds a bit silly, doesn’t it? I should be happy. I just prefer a bit more time and energy invested in new champions. Let’s hope my scenario plays out, but I’m not holding my breath. The worst possible outcome is the Outlaws win clean.

Isenberg on what should happen: WWE has done a very good job of keeping The Uso’s relevant without giving them a major win. Yeah, they have beaten tag teams and The Shield, but they have not had a signature win. This should happen tonight because I have no idea what WWE is trying to do with the New Age Outlaws. Are we supposed to love the nostalga or hate them?

Isenberg on what will happen: The Outlaws will retain in cheap fashion, thus continuing their feud with Jimmy and Jey. I expect this to be an entertaining and exciting match from the very beginning. The Uso’s desperately need to look strong and seemingly have the championships won, but come up SO CLOSE. This gives the fans that Daniel Bryan feel, to a much smaller extent.
