Title This: 2/25 WWE Raw Reaction; “Hogan Returns Home”, Quick Network Thoughts

The Main Events

wwe raw reactionBray Wyatt defeated Roman Reigns via disqualification. A great match between two of the young and brightest stars in the company is technically the "main event" match of the night. With two different styles clashing inside the ring, Reigns and Bray put on a great contest. Bray suplexes Roman and connects with a running crossbody, then he charges the corner but Reigns kicks him in the face and connects with a diving clothesline. As Reigns is setting up a Superman Punch, the lights cut out and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan appear. After they beat down Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose finally appears and takes out Bray Wyatt. He causes the accidental DQ, but it seemed like Roman Reigns was not happy about the DQ. Once again, the split is slowly beginning to take place, whether it was a backstage segment or inside the ring. Great balance and logical booking ended this match. It was more about The Shield, which was okay with me. Bray already has his feud set up.

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar is Set!

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar come out upset that Lesnar will not be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. They gave Lesnar an open contract to challenge someone. As they are about to leave, the lights go out and a gong hits.

Out comes The Undertaker, who has the Ministry goatee and a bad ass look. He gets in the face of Lesnar. Lesnar signs the contract and tells Taker to sign it. Undertaker stabs Lesnar's hand with the pen and hits a chokeslam through the table. This ends Raw and sets up a feud that could be an incredible story between two giants who respect one another. The biggest wild card: how does Paul Heyman make this better than a year ago with CM Punk? They do not have a death of Paul Bearer to rely on.

Quick Hits:

– Bad News Barrett is absolutely hilarious to me because it is so dumb. He never says anything of relevance and that is the genius behind it.

– The WWE Network is absolutely impressive. All of the video library is worth the monthly fee. It is easy to search and very crisp looking. I love how much content they have and how its only going to get better. There has to be an understanding of server issues from the beginning. It will slowly develop and get better, that is for sure. I wonder if you can DVR live content, such as NXT Arrival. Will you be able to start it 20 minutes after or have to jump right into the live coverage?

– WWE Pre-show was well done, but I want to see more backstage interviews and hyping up Raw. They spotlighted some Superstars matches, but it was only a few live shots. I'm glad they did not ignore it, but save that for content on the Network. Also, Josh Matthews should be there every week to lead a panel. Make it three guys, not four. Four is too many voices for a half hour show.
