Title This: 2014 WWE Extreme Rules Reaction

Cesaro defeated Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam

WWE Extreme RulesHighlights of the Match:

WWE Extreme Rules starts with Paul Heyman. His promo before the match was excellent. He did all he needed to do to make himself and Cesaro feel important. RVD executes a nice monkey flip onto Cesaro who falls on top of Swagger. Swagger tosses RVD off the rope and into a Patriot Lock.

Cesaro breaks up the submission hold with an uppercut from the middle rope. Cesaro deadlifts Swagger into a suplex and RVD hits 5 Star Frog Splash for Swagger's elimination. Rob Van Dam hits a spinning leg drop when Cesaro is cradled on the barricade. Cesaro hits the Neutralizer.

Reaction:

After a smooth match and a strong finish that was booked, Cesaro NEEDED to win this match. They need him to pick up a big win, if you want to call this big. Either way, the match was smooth and did not lack any creativity. Paul Heyman can take Cesaro to new heights because he actually has a personality. (Not Curtis Axel)

Score: 6.5/10

Alexander Rusev defeated Xavier Woods and R-Truth

Highlights of the match:

Lana may be more interesting that Rusev. I liked how WWE tried to get more heat by putting Putin's picture on the screen. Rusev immediately tosses Truth and Woods around on the outside. Rusev hits an spinning heel kick, which is impressive for such a large athlete.

Reaction:

This still does nothing for me whatsoever. Rusev would have benefitted much more if he faced someone with some importance. He could be a good option for a Sheamus down the road.

Score: 3/10
