Tyson Kidd defeated Sheamus

raw reaction Tyson Kidd hits some kicks and then a dropkick to Sheamus. Sheamus follows with an Irish Curse backbreaker and then punches away in the corner. Tyson Kidd hits a running dropkick and then gets only a one count. Tyson Kidd chokes him with his foot and then kicks him in the stomach.

Sheamus is really struggling to get offense going, as Kidd locks in a sleeper hold. Sheamus buries his shoulder into his stomach and then a high knee. Sheamus hits an Alabama Slam and then locks in the Cloverleaf. Sheamus is taken to the outside and then Sheamus hits a rolling senton on the outside.

You have to be extremely surprised as to how WWE booked this match. Sheamus had to fight back over and over again with a guy who loses often on NXT. Not that many fans may realize that, but WWE is hyping a Sheamus vs. Rusev match after Raw on the WWE Network and he can’t even beat Sheamus?! Come on. Where is the logic here?

The Authority Tries To Lure Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler gets interrupted by The Authority, who tries to lure him to join them. Triple H talks about how John Cena is a reason that Dolph Ziggler is being held back and how he cannot break through the glass ceiling. Dolph says he wants The Authority out of power and then Triple H sets up an IC title match between Ziggler and Rollins.

Seth Rollins starts on the offensive when he clotheslines Dolph Ziggler. Following up, Ziggler is able to reverse it and hit multiple punches to Rollins. Back body drop and a suplex follows, but Rollins is able to escape and revert the offense back to him. Dolph builds momentum with a splash to the corner. He tries another and Seth throws him face first into the ropes. Both men spill to the outside. Rollins drives Dolph, kidneys first, into the apron.

Ziggler gets going after a commercial break with some clotheslines, a neckbreaker and an elbow drop. Rollins rolls him up from behind and then catapults him into the turnbuckle. Rollins catches Ziggler and hits a powerbomb into the corner. Ziggler hits a Fameasser for a two count. Rollins moves out of a kick and then hits a spinning kick himself.

Jamie Noble gets involved with hanging Ziggler up on the rope. Rollins throws him into the post and then hits a Curb Stomp. Randy Orton comes out of nowhere and hits an RKO.

Excellent match with an excellent story to continue to develop. Randy Orton strikes and looks like he is hotter than ever with the WWE Universe right now. I love the natural reaction he gets from the crowd. I want to see more of Orton vs. Rollins, as it could really boost both guys to another level. Seth Rollins can finally get to Orton’s level, while Orton continues to re-create himself.
