Isenberg’s Reaction: WWE Smackdown “Dolph Can Be A Star, If WWE Lets Him”

The New Day Debuts on WWE Smackdown

Alas, we see Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E come out as a new group. Personally, I have high expectations for them. I want to see them succeed and think they can. I do see them getting to a point where they carry the Tag Team championships and possibly an Intercontinental Championship, but where were they before? Is this a step up? To be really successful these days, they have to reach another level that they had not previously reached.

Xavier Woods is the wild card here for a few reasons. We have yet to see a really good match and feud for him. He got stuck with Brodus Clay and that garbage storyline when he first came to the WWE from NXT. We already know what we can expect from Kofi Kingston. Big E is still young and has plenty more to accomplish, even though we have seen him exposing his weaknesses so far.

What do you expect from them? What will deem them a success? Should they be a heel stable? Will they turn into one? I think they could.

Nikki Bella defeated Emma

Emma hits a move in the corner before Nikki hits a kick and then the Rack Attack. After the match, Nikki bashes AJ Lee and says she has worked harder than her in becoming the best. AJ Lee runs out and the champion escapes.

Not much to note here aside from a rematch that will take place at WWE TLC. Nikki Bella seems to be the face of the WWE Divas Division right now, until Brie turns on her and gets the ultimate revenge. For AJ Lee, I see her successful career winding down. If she wants to take time away from WWE, that could be her biggest mistake.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
