Dolph Ziggler Makes You Forget About CM Punk
Another stellar match between Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper took place on WWE Raw. I came up with the brightest thought of my life. Is Dolph’s push to make everyone forget about CM Punk? He is hotter than anyone on the roster and does it with his excellent ring work. That is how CM Punk started and then he needed a mic to continue his relevancy. Will Dolph Ziggler go that route, or will he continue to be on the best streak of his life?
Luke Harper is so similar to Bruiser Brody. The comparisons are there and he continues to evolve. His brute strength and flow in the ring is second to none for any big man in the company.
He needed a few superkicks and then a ZigZag for the win. I loved that Dolph got a shot to talk a little longer after the match. He talks about everything he has gone through to get to this point. Rusev and Ryback Get Physical
Piper’s Pit has Rusev and Lana. Not long, Ryback comes out and gets himself some of the Bulgarian Brute. He hits a spinebuster and just misses a clothesline. Rusev escapes and we just teased with a little physicality between the two big men.
I really was expecting SO MUCH MORE from Roddy Piper. If you are bringing him in, please use him more than a few sentences. He is still so good at making the feud feel important. Anyways, WWE knows that they are holding off all physicality until some “epic encounter.”Again, who can afford to lose between these two guys right now?
Please Utilize Paige Again
6 Divas match is somewhat of a mess. All that the fans, including myself, wanted to see Paige come alive and pick up a win. Why would WWE waste Paige right now? Where has she been and what did she do to get pushed so far down the Divas ladder? Is there a better overall wrestler? Sorry, but she is a better heel as well than Nikki Bella. This comes off crazy, but what about pairing her with a heel? Why not someone like Barrett. People who love Barrett love Paige. Let them work a heel-ish but still somewhat face to the smart fans gimmick. They both could benefit from one another at this time and point, hopefully getting hot as WrestleMania season comes around.
